Austin Campground sits in a quiet wooded valley near Cherry Springs and other PA Wilds attractions, offering large, level sites and very clean, well-maintained grounds and an impressive bathhouse. Many guests praise the friendly, attentive owners and the family-run atmosphere; visitors also note excellent stargazing and frequent wildlife sightings (elk, deer, turkey, etc.). It's a good spot for tent and motorcycle travelers who want to disconnect. One tradeoff: the campground enforces a strict cancellation/refund policy, so check terms carefully if plans might change or weather could affect activities like stargazing.
