AZ High Country Campground is a small, rustic RV park with mature shade trees, full hookups and an on-site propane fill. Guests commonly note friendly, hands-on hosts who run a daily late-afternoon social hour and provide local tips. The setting is quiet and scenic—elk and other wildlife are often heard—and it's close to Show Low, Heber/Overgaard and area lakes/trails. Practical tradeoffs: some sites are a bit tight for very large rigs, Wi-Fi and cell service can be weak, and facilities were reported as being under remodel. Owners enforce a breed restriction, which guests view differently.
