What campers say
Andrus Lake is a small, scenic lakeside campground that many visitors find peaceful and well maintained. Sites are lakeside and roomy with fire rings, suitable for fishing, kayaking, and rockhounding; anglers report good panfish and pike. Facilities are primitive — pit toilets and no electrical or water hookups — though bathrooms are generally kept clean and staff attend trash. Expect variable cell service and a potable-water pump that can be finicky or discolored. Parts of the loop can flood in wet seasons and mosquitoes increase when warm. Occasional ATV/dirt‑bike activity and generator use have been reported, so nights may not always be silent.
