What campers say

Aliso Park Campground is a secluded, shady spot tucked among old oak trees with spacious, well-separated sites, picnic tables and fire rings. Trails lead from camp into nearby hills, and the site is close enough to New Cuyama and the Carrizo Plain for supplies and day trips. It is a primitive area: vault toilets (condition varies), no potable water, and a Los Padres/park pass may be required. Expect plenty of bird and other wildlife, generally peaceful outside busy holiday weekends, but occasional litter or long‑term vehicles have been reported and cell service can be weak.
