Campsites and cabins are described as spacious and generally clean, with cabins offering electric and AC and some sites providing water/electric hookups; restrooms and showers are available though porta-potty conditions can vary. The lake is often low and there’s limited shade or extensive hiking, so bring supplies—the nearest services are many miles away. Wildlife viewing is a highlight (burros/donkeys, a variety of birds, occasional fox or coyote). Expect a primitive, peaceful experience; occasional noise or dated facilities have been reported.
