Acorn Acres is a small, quiet campground with a pond for swimming and fishing and a friendly, accommodating staff. Weekends are livelier, with a number of long‑term campers and pavilion activities such as music and bingo, while weekdays tend to be peaceful. The park allows golf carts and quads. Several guests praise cleanliness and safety, though others say it could use more children’s activities. Some who stayed in winter reported frozen water lines, occasional power reliability problems, and muddy or uneven parking at certain sites.
