This is a state park with over 100 sites. Water and electric sites only but a dump station. Gated for security. Beautiful, shaded, private sites, some pull-throughs, some on the creek, some 50 amp. Big section of “no pets” sites. Fire pits, grills, tables and clotheslines at sites. Laundry, showers, picnic areas, pavilion, group campging. Hiking and biking trails, fishing, swimming and beach on creek and lake. Paddle boat and kayak rentals. Playgrounds, sandy sites, very wooded. Observation deck and lots of wildlife. Minutes to shopping, 10 miles from Sarasota, FL. 1-1/2 miles from I-75, convenient to shopping and attractions.
