Kodachrome Basin State Park: Bryce View Campground — Virtual Tour
About Kodachrome Basin State Park: Bryce View Campground
Kodachrome Basin State Park: Bryce View Campground 9 miles south of Cannonville Utah offers 11 primitive (no hookup) RV and tent camping sites on a dirt loop road located 1 mile off the main paved road accessed via a dirt road toward Chimney Rock. All the sites are pull thrus except for one (site 8) and can accommodate reasonably sized RVs or tent campers. Tenters will enjoy soft dirt camping pads and good separation between sites. A small restroom is located in the center of the loop and a water fill spigot is situated adjacent.
No trails depart from this location but the dirt road is suitable for hiking or biking up to Chimney Rock. This area tends to act as overflow for campers unable to get in to Basin Campground.
Arch Group Site is located just down the road from this campground.
The access road from Cannonville is paved and reasonably smooth; it passes through open grazing areas so watch for cattle on the road.
