What campers say

Dry River Campground sits on Route 302 in Crawford Notch with convenient access to many trailheads and some on-site river access. Sites are generally spacious, with picnic tables, fire rings and a few platform shelters; several sites can accommodate long rigs. Potable water, coin-operated showers and coin laundry are available; dumpsters are at the entrance and wood is sold on-site (cash). The small office is often unmanned though staff are nearby. Bathrooms receive mixed reports, so bring sandals. Expect highway noise on sites closest to 302 and much quieter conditions farther east. Cell reception is limited and visitors should be bear-aware.
