Yonah Mountain Campground sits a short drive from Helen and local trailheads, making it convenient for hiking and area attractions. Visitors frequently praise the clean, well-maintained grounds, friendly staff, and amenities such as large, hot-water shower stalls, an outdoor pool, recreation room and pondside tent areas with fire pits. Sites are mainly gravel with 30A/50A hookups, water and 120V outlets, though the hilly layout can make long, wide rigs difficult to maneuver and some sites may be uneven. Pool hours and other rules aren’t always clearly posted. Overall it’s a quiet, reasonably priced option for families and RVers.
