    “As a yearslong expansion wraps up, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Mammoth Cave intends to have more than 100 new campsites open by mid-May.

    Park co-owner Bill Pott said the expansion is necessary because there aren’t enough cabins and campsites to meet demand, noting that there’s been a sizable waiting list each October for roughly a decade.

    “There’s a backlog. People want to come. There’s just a need for us to open more sites and cabins so that people can come in,” he said. “Halloween has been full and on a waiting list for probably 10 years. Spring break has almost always been full, except for years like this year when the weather is cold.””

Park Description

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp and Resort at Mammoth Cave in Cave City Kentucky provides full hookup RV and tent camping tucked off the highway. The family friendly park has a mix of RV, cabin and tent camping accommodations. With regularly scheduled events, a large pool and splash pad the RV park is a prime destination. In 2017 the park will commit over $10M in upgrades including adding sites and a large water park.
