"As a yearslong expansion wraps up, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Mammoth Cave intends to have more than 100 new campsites open by mid-May. Park co-owner Bill Pott said the expansion is necessary because there aren’t enough cabins and campsites to meet demand, noting that there’s been a sizable waiting list each October for roughly a decade. “There’s a backlog. People want to come. There’s just a need for us to open more sites and cabins so that people can come in,” he said. “Halloween has been full and on a waiting list for probably 10 years.
