The park itself is nice and well kept. We stayed in one of their economy back-in spots which was not so nice. Packed in like sardines they really jam everyone in. Walking distance to West Yellowstone shops we did ask ourselves why we needed to stay so close. You end up driving hundreds of miles inside the park anyways so why pay a premium to stay near the entrance gate?

What campers say
Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park is a well-kept, tree-lined facility a short drive from Yellowstone’s West Entrance. Guests consistently praise friendly, helpful staff, spacious level sites with full hookups, paved roads and extra parking that accommodate large rigs, plus multiple clean, heated bathhouses and card-operated laundry buildings. Grounds and landscaping are meticulously maintained and there’s a well-stocked camp store; playground areas and sidewalks make it family- and pet-friendly. Practical tradeoffs noted include occasional soggy grass from irrigation, occasional inconvenient sewer placement on some sites, and no campfires allowed. Overall it’s convenient for park access and organized group rallies.
