Yatesville Lake State Park offers well-maintained, clean campgrounds with roomy, private-feeling sites, many providing water and electric hookups and a nearby dump station. Restrooms and shower houses are modern with laundry; a small park store sells ice and firewood. Staff and hosts are frequently described as friendly and helpful. The lake and marina/boat ramp support boating, fishing and swimming, and there are extensive multi-use trails plus an 18-hole golf course. Practical tradeoffs: some tent sites are hike-in or accessed by stairs, lake access isn’t at every site, and cell reception can be limited.
