What campers say
The park offers two campground areas: an RV loop with water/electric hookups, flush toilets and showers that tends to be quieter, and a basic tent area with vault toilets and no utilities. Campsites and yurts are well maintained and clean, and staff and volunteers are consistently friendly. Yurts include canoe access and make for easy fishing and birding; trails, an amphitheater and playground add recreation. The lake can be shallow and algae-prone, limiting swimming. Expect busy summer weekends, some uneven tent sites, and no on-site sewer dump (town dump nearby).
