What campers say

Whiting Campground offers a quiet, tree-covered setting with nearby hiking, biking and equestrian trails. Visitors frequently praise the helpful, visible camp host and say sites are clean and well maintained. Practical tradeoffs include limited facilities: vault/pit toilets, occasional potable water shutoffs, no hookups at group sites, and some sites/loops can be tight for larger RVs. Bugs are commonly mentioned and can get into food and gear. Weekends tend to be busier and occasionally noisy around group sites, while weekdays are generally quieter. Roads are paved but narrow, so check site size and amenities when booking.
