The campground's strongest asset is its location—close to Bardstown, the Bourbon Trail, restaurants and a nearby Walmart—making it a convenient basecamp. The park offers 50-amp sites with water and sewer; sites are split between a shaded, tree-lined side and an open, sunny side. Site level and upkeep vary: many are usable but several are uneven, overgrown, or low on gravel. Facilities are basic and the bathhouse and laundry options appear limited or in need of repair; trash is handled via a single dumpster. Staff are generally friendly and accommodating. Good for short stays or budget-minded travelers who accept rustic conditions.
