What campers say

Whiskey Springs is a quiet, remote campground with large, well-shaded sites that accommodate trailers and offer good privacy. Trails wind through varied forest to a beaver pond and springs, with plentiful wildlife and mossy scenery. Facilities are generally clean—bathrooms and picnic tables are well kept—and the camp feels peaceful for hiking or winter snow play. Tradeoffs include spotty cell service, occasional lack of water or onsite host, limited firewood availability, and some overgrown trail sections; a few visitors also report cattle entering sites. Overall it’s a spacious, nature-focused campsite for those seeking solitude.
