Westerly RV Park is a small, conveniently located campground directly across from Durango Hot Springs and within easy walking/driving distance of a grocery, hardware store and downtown/Purgatory. Sites are gravel in a compact circular layout with full hookups, laundry, a small media/library area and a geothermal creek along one edge. Guests praise friendly, responsive staff and the park’s usefulness as a launch point for local activities. Tradeoffs include daytime highway noise, variable shade and inconsistent grounds maintenance—some guests report sprinklers or mowing without warning—and occasional spotty Wi‑Fi. Overall suited for short stays or as a convenient base.
