Park Description

Wenberg County Park Campground in Stanwood Washington on the shores of Lake Goodwin provides camping 3 distinct loops.

Loop 1 (sites 1-15) offers full hookups in most of its sites. Best suited for RV camping there are pull thrus.
Loop 2 (sites 16-44 and ADA) offers a mix of partial and primitive hookup sites.
Loop 3 (sites 45-67) offers mostly primitive hookup sites and is best suited for tent camping.

The nice county park is open seasonally and provides access to the lake down a steep incline to the waters edge; the campsites are not on the waters edge. Loop 1 is in an open setting with easy access for most any sized RV; it does suffer from guests using it for long term stays. Loop 2 is best for tent and small RV camping and is situated in a wooded setting. Loop 3 is tight and narrow.

Sites have picnic tables and fire-rings. Paved roads with dirt/ gravel sites.

The popular county park has a manned entrance kiosk.

This park used to be a Washington State Park but was taken over by the county in 2009.
