What campers say

Washoe Lake State Park Campground offers wide open lake and mountain views, frequent sightings of wild horses, and a generally quiet, low-traffic atmosphere. Sites accommodate RVs (many listed as fitting 30'), often with picnic tables, water hookups, and some blacktop pads; backing larger rigs into certain spots can be tight. Amenities include restrooms with showers that are clean but dated, and paid park Wi‑Fi/fees apply (many reported nightly charges around $20–$25 plus nonresident fees). Note that some sites are a fair walk from facilities, seasonal loop closures occur, and it can be windy at times.
