Voorhees State Park is a quiet, woodsy campground with miles of mostly dirt trails, family-friendly facilities, and clean, updated restrooms and bathhouse. Campsites commonly include picnic tables, fire rings and access to cabins/log huts; there’s a playground for children and the park is dog-friendly on a leash. Hikes are pleasant along streams but can have exposed roots, rocks and short uphill sections, so good footwear is recommended. Practical tradeoffs: some sites are rocky or uneven and a few visitors find on-site trail markers limited; check-in may be handled off-site. Overall, it’s well maintained and popular for camping and day hikes.
