What campers say

The Valdez KOA Journey is a clean, well-kept campground with spacious full‑hookup sites, paved paths for dog walks, a playground, a small camp store, and indoor private showers that many guests praise for cleanliness and comfort. Staff are regularly described as friendly and responsive, often resolving issues quickly. Practical tradeoffs include some sites close to the highway or one another and occasional limited laundry availability. A few guests reported early‑season maintenance hiccups; one guest noted concerns about potable water, so confirming water status before arrival is recommended. Overall it’s a convenient base for exploring Valdez.
