Turquoise Trail Campground is nice and usually very peaceful. There are a few restaurants within a couple of miles, resale shops, weekend flea market, grocery store, etc. Take a beautiful drive up Turquoise Trail to Santa Fe or just to Sandia Peak or Albuquerque. Don't miss the Tinkertown Museum not too far away (seasonal, I think).

What campers say
Turquoise Trail Campgrounds is a well-kept, friendly RV park and campground with attentive hosts, clean bathhouses and reliable hookups. Sites are generally level with shade and modern utilities, and many guests praise easy access to national forest trails and nearby hiking. The park is pet-friendly, has a small play area and convenient nearby stores, making it a practical base close to the city yet quieter than urban areas. Potential tradeoffs: sites can be closely spaced, and some visitors have reported unreliable campground Wi‑Fi. Overall the park is highly rated for cleanliness and customer service.
