Staff are described as friendly and accommodating, and the park is easy to access from I-70 while remaining relatively quiet. Many guests praise good water pressure, picnic areas and shaded sites. Practical tradeoffs: while Wi‑Fi and TV access generally work for most visitors, a few have reported connectivity issues, and a small number have experienced problems reaching management about reservation changes. Overall, a pleasant, affordable stopover with solid facilities.
