What campers say
Tommy Turtle Park is a well-kept, small-town roadside attraction centered on a giant turtle sculpture and a visitor center. The park offers playgrounds, picnic shelters, public restrooms, courts for basketball, tennis and pickleball, baseball fields, and a gaga pit, and is dog-friendly. An on-site RV area at the welcome center provides full hookups (about $20/night), showers and water, though some guests report very hard, odorous water and many spaces can be occupied long-term. Sports areas are often quiet, so bring companions if you want active play. Good for a photo stop or an inexpensive overnight.
