Token Creek County Park is a large, well-maintained park offering diverse outdoor options across woodlands, grasslands, streams and boardwalks. Miles of marked hiking, biking and equestrian trails, a 27-hole disc golf course, fishing, playgrounds, picnic shelters and an off‑leash dog area make it popular for day use, while a campground with electric, long-level sites, clean bathhouses and a dump station accommodates RVs and tents. Its proximity to Madison is convenient. Practical tradeoffs include marshy or soggy trail sections, seasonal mosquitoes, occasional highway or aircraft noise, and infrequent restroom closures—worth factoring into timing and site choice.
