What campers say
Set among large trees along the South Fork Snoqualmie, Tinkham Campground offers a scenic, creekside experience within about an hour of the Seattle area. Sites are generally private with picnic tables, fire rings and bear-safe food lockers; a few sites include electrical outlets. Practical tradeoffs include a rough, unpaved 1-mile access road that may be challenging with a trailer, basic vault toilets and a hand pump for water that some visitors found awkward, and noticeable I-90 noise although it often blends into the river sounds. Reservations are handled online and midweek stays tend to be much quieter.
