Park Description

The Great Escape RV Park & Camp Resort located in Higginsville, Missouri, 50 miles east of Kansas City provides full service and full hookup RV and primitive tent camping.  Convenient for travelers on the Southwest side of I-70 at exit 49. We have propane, Ice, firewood, ice cream and limited store items. Laundromat with full bathroom showers.

We are pleased to announce the opening of our ‘campers only’ Clubhouse Bar & Grill. Serving quality food and drinks for those that want to pull in and relax without unhooking to find something to eat somewhere! Offering the best Cheeseburgers and bar food in the area! Open every weekend evenings in the Summer!

We have a Salt-Water pool that is open Memorial day and doesn’t close until the weather gets too cold to swim in the Fall.

Bring your dogs as we have a completely fenced area to let them run free without a leash! We love dogs and cats! We just ask for them to be leashed in all other areas of the park and pick up after them.

All of our sites are full-hook up with 30/50 amp, city water and sewer. Most sites are Satellite friendly and many of the Kansas City local channels come in by antenna. Every site has a picnic table and a fire pit. Firewood available

We have a playground for the kids, volleyball, horse shoe pits and 30 acres of walking/hiking for everyone!

We have two small Catch & Release fishing lakes with no license required to fish.

We have a beautiful clubhouse (Holds 120) that we rent out for special occasions, birthday parties and wedding receptions. Our grill has a full catering menu available. We also have a meeting room (Holds 40) with a kitchenette for rent.

We are open all year round (limited spaces due to water, after Thanksgiving) for those traveling in the Winter too! We welcome you to come spend a night, a weekend or even 28 days or more!
