The park is on a peninsula with the bay on one side and the Gulf on the other. Different loops better suited to different sized rigs, pick your poison. Incredible beach, views, and location. Definitely a remote feel with major shopping miles away.

What campers say
T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park offers long stretches of white‑sand Gulf shoreline and calmer bay waters, providing a mix of beach, dunes and quiet natural habitat. Camp options include renovated cabins and newer RV sites within walking distance of the shore; facilities such as restrooms, showers and laundry have been updated after storm damage. The park supports paddling, fishing and miles of trails where deer, shorebirds and occasional raptors are often seen. Note that some areas are reachable only on foot via sandy trails and the campground footprint is smaller than it once was following hurricane impacts.
