What campers say

Sunset Point Campground sits right on the lake and is often praised for its scenic water views, tree-lined sites, and easy access to the shore. Multiple guests highlight attentive, friendly camp hosts who keep the grounds and restrooms notably clean. Sites are first-come, first-served; many are level and suitable for trailers or tents, though some are more exposed to wind. Expect a peaceful atmosphere most nights, but occasional loud groups have been reported, and fees are considered higher by some visitors. The area offers nearby hiking and boating opportunities; arrive early in peak season to secure a preferred site.
