Sun Lakes Park Resort is a family-oriented lakefront campground and cabin/RV resort with strong amenities: a store and diner, boat launch and cleaning station, equipment rentals, mini golf, pool and lake swimming. Many guests praise the friendly staff, fishing opportunities and clean, comfortable cabins and shaded RV sites. Practical tradeoffs include worn family-style furnishings rather than hotel luxury, limited pool parking that can mean a longer walk from some trailer spots, and hot summer temperatures on nearby trails (bring sunscreen and plenty of water). Overall it’s a well-equipped, kid-friendly spot for fishing and boating.
