Sun Country Golf Course offers striking mountain and river views and generally friendly, accommodating staff. Many guests find the layout enjoyable and, when maintained, the turf and greens are in good shape. Tradeoffs noted include relatively high green fees for conditions that can be inconsistent in spring—dry or patchy fairways, slow or rough greens, and occasional tree debris—and a short layout that can leave groups close together. There's an on-site campground and bar/grill, though some visitors reported spotty hookups and less-regular restroom upkeep. Overall it's a scenic, welcoming course worth trying if you accept variable conditions and cost.
