What campers say
Sugar Shores Camping Resort offers well-maintained grounds, a clean clubhouse and pool, and organized activities for families. Many guests praise friendly staff, on-site amenities (playground, mini-golf, pavilion, small camp store and LP refills) and its river/lake setting. Trade-offs: sites vary in size — some are long but narrow — and several lots are privately owned, which can limit shore access and lead to a quieter, seasonal atmosphere; a number of visitors report tight parking and occasional tension with long-term campers. Expect mosquitoes in summer and plan accordingly. Overall a family-oriented, amenity-rich park with mixed experiences around site space and social vibe.
