What campers say
Stockton State Park offers a scenic, well‑maintained lake setting with good boating, fishing and a beach area where boats can come ashore. Campsites are spacious and provide privacy; camper cabins are solidly built with electricity, small refrigerators, microwaves, porches and nearby bathhouses, though cabins may be pricier. Trail options range from short hikes to an 8‑mile Lakeview route and the Umber Ridge trail; trails can be wet after storms and may have webs in places. Facilities and restrooms are generally clean, boat ramps and marina areas are kept up, and the park feels peaceful and family‑friendly.
