What campers say
Spring Valley State Park offers striking mountain-and-reservoir scenery with well-maintained, clean campsites and a quiet, uncrowded atmosphere. Many visitors praise fishing, kayaking, hiking, and picnic facilities; campsites commonly provide electricity and shared potable-water spigots, with restrooms, showers, and a nearby RV dump station. Practical trade-offs include variable reservoir levels (seasonal low water and winter ice), limited cell service in much of the park, and few full hookups at sites (no sewer at most sites). A modest park entrance/usage fee applies. Overall it is a scenic, peaceful spot for anglers and hikers seeking a low-traffic state park.
