All back in spots this place might be great for some, snowbirds, but for younger folks this is not the spot to stay. Nice little pool but the overall location is run down a bit. We really wanted to like it but ended up not.
About this campground
Southern Aire RV Resort in Thonotosassa Florida caters to long term and park model guests with full hookup RV sites mixed in.
What campers say
Southern Aire RV Resort is frequently praised for its friendly, attentive management and staff who keep the park welcoming and well maintained. Amenities include a clean pool, hot tub, clubhouse/rec hall, exercise equipment and an active social calendar. Sites are generally level with concrete pads and 30/50-amp hookups and allow room for extra vehicles, though spaces can be close together and the park blends permanent, seasonal and transient guests. Practical tradeoffs noted include occasional traffic noise where sites back up to a highway, some minor lot maintenance and a somewhat dated feel in places, but overall it’s considered good value.
