What campers say

South Twin Lake Campground in La Pine offers cabins, a small store/tackle shop, a lakeside restaurant/bar and basic Forest Service–style sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Many visitors praise the setting and quiet, and some report clean flush toilets in campground bathrooms. Experiences are mixed: several reviewers mention inconsistent cleanliness (notably showers), strict or confusing parking/registration enforcement, and customer service or reservation/refund issues. If you’re drawn to lakeside cabins and on-site amenities, expect pleasant scenery but variable service reliability, and confirm reservation rules before you go.
