Snake Creek Campgrounds

Snake Creek Campgrounds in Great Basin National Park offers primitive camping along a 4wd accessible highway. Campers must be in designated sites along these roads and backcountry camping regulations apply. Tents must be placed within 30 feet of the site's picnic table(s) and/or fire ring(s). Generators may only be used between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Checkout time is noon. The maximum continuous stay limit at any campsite is 14 days. Groups size is limited to 15 persons and/or 6 pack animals, and/or 6 vehicles per site. Larger groups must split into smaller groups within these limits, and must camp at separate sites.
