What campers say
Singletree Campground sits in a pleasant Ponderosa and juniper forest with spacious, well-separated sites. Amenities include clean flush toilets, potable water spigots, picnic tables and fire rings; a dump station is available (some visitors note a $10 fee). A friendly, attentive camp host is frequently mentioned. Many campsites are first-come-first-serve while group sites can be reserved and tend to be nearer the road, where occasional traffic noise may be heard. A short, steep trail leads to a waterfall. At about 8,000 ft nights can be chilly but offer excellent stargazing, and it’s an easy drive to nearby Torrey and Capitol Reef.
