Silver Summit RV Park & Jeep sits right at the edge of Silverton with easy walking access to downtown, the river and many trails. Guests commonly praise the mountain views, clean restrooms, full hookups and helpful, friendly front desk and hosts; onsite jeep rentals are convenient. Tradeoffs include relatively tight, semi‑level sites that suit smaller rigs better, occasional drainage issues after heavy rain, and mixed reports about noise and exhaust from larger motorhomes or barking dogs. The Durango/Silverton train runs close by and Wi‑Fi can be intermittent. Overall a convenient, well‑kept mom‑and‑pop park with some space and neighborliness compromises.
