Silver Creek Plunge is a family-oriented, small mountain campground centered on a clean, well-maintained hot spring pool and creek. Visitors repeatedly praise friendly, attentive staff, kid-friendly amenities (pool toys, nearby store), fishing under the bridge, and nearby hiking. Grounds and facilities are generally kept tidy, with bathrooms cleaned regularly. Practical tradeoffs: the road in can be rough for trailers (though there are reports it has been graded recently), many sites are fairly close together and most campsites lack hookups. Overall it's a relaxing, off-grid spot popular with families who don't need full RV services.
