Sheyenne Oaks Campground is described as a tidy, well‑maintained equestrian‑friendly park with private, tree‑separated pull‑through sites offering full hookups (50A, water, sewer), picnic tables and fire rings. Multiple clean shower rooms and a small laundry are available, and corrals behind many sites plus an extensive trail network with water for horses appeal to riders. Owners/hosts are reported friendly; firewood and small items are on an honor system. Practical tradeoffs: it’s a few gravel miles off the highway, there’s generally no Wi‑Fi, corrals can get muddy in wet weather, and some visitors note strict reservation/payment policies.
