What campers say

Shell Creek Campground is a quiet, scenic, remote site along a tree-lined creek with good chances to see elk, moose, and deer. Sites are spacious; many sit beside Shell Creek and accommodate large RVs, though a few tent-only sites are available. Hosts are frequently praised for keeping facilities clean, offering firewood, and helping campers. Fishing for brook trout is commonly reported but can be challenging in shallow, clear water or limited when the creek runs high. Note that most sites are reservation-based and hosts expect on-site payment methods - potable water access can be limited early in the season, so plan accordingly.
