Several guests praise an active, hands-on manager and ongoing upgrades — paved roads, a new laundry and shower building, and generally clean, family- and pet-friendly grounds. Practical tradeoffs include occasional maintenance or communication lapses (one report of a smoking dryer and another of poor storm-related handling) and tree limbs that can be a hazard in storms. Overall it can be a convenient, well-managed spot for short stays if you choose a back site.
