Salida RV Resort is a newer, well-maintained park with clean, level, spacious sites and a modern clubhouse offering showers, laundry and a gym. Riverfront sites, on-site river access, a dog park, pickleball and a short walk to downtown make it convenient for families and outdoor activities. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and rotating food trucks provide onsite dining options. Practical tradeoffs: some sites downwind of a nearby wastewater facility can experience odors at times, and Wi-Fi and cell coverage have been reported as weaker on the farthest lots.
