Great small park with a few very large sites. Nice bathrooms and laundry now open. Is gravel but plenty of room right off the highway. We are 77 ft with no issues.

It’s conveniently located just off I‑40, making it an easy overnight stop or longer base, though highway noise can be noticeable. The park is dog-friendly (two dog runs) and offers practical amenities—propane service, on-site laundry, grills, picnic areas and even a food truck. Some visitors report poor-tasting or hard water and occasional restroom/shower outages or limited shared facilities, so plan accordingly (water filters and backup shower plans can help). Overall a convenient, comfortable option with a few tradeoffs.

Place was cool. We came in late raining on bikes and they allowed us to set up in their pavilion. unfinished but had walls and a roof. even brought us blankets for the night at 1130 at night. Now here is the kicker because they did not have bath house done they did not charge us anything. we checked wifi charged our phones had a great sleep until about noon the next day and hit the road. They told us to come back when they were finished then they would charge us 10.00 to tent camp. We did not even have a tent and had a great warm nice place to sleep. Thanks. Bo & Robin. Always in your debt. They said send them some business. Cool people.
