Riverside Park in Fort Morgan offers extensive, well-maintained trails along the river with gravel paths, switchbacks and an outer loop often used for walking, running and dog outings. The grounds include ponds, a pool, playgrounds and a highly regarded disc golf course, making it appealing for families and quick stops on road trips. Visitors note plentiful shade in parts of the park but exposed open areas that can be hot midday. Practical tradeoffs include limited signage on some wild-trail sections, little to no drinkable water or trash cans along trails, and a requirement that dogs remain leashed.
