Great stay at Riverbend RV on Montrose. Limited amenities (no pool or playground) but has decent small dog park. Also cabins available for non rv guests. Wonderful hosts during my stay in September 2023. Entrance to park difficult if coming in from north on Chipeta Rd (heavy traffic to cross.) Cone in from south and watch for short notice right turn.

What campers say
Riverbend RV Park and Cabins sits along the Uncompahgre River and offers roomy RV sites and riverside cabins with full hookups. Guests praise easy drive-in parking for large rigs, well-maintained grounds, spotless bath/laundry facilities, and consistently friendly, helpful staff. The park has a paved trail into town, a gazebo and picnic areas, and a small dog area. Practical tradeoffs include a mix of grassy and gravel sites, a mostly dirt (and sometimes dusty) dog run, and gym-style communal showers. Overall it’s a clean, quiet, well-kept option when visiting nearby Black Canyon and Grand Mesa.
