Riverbend Campground sits along the Nisqually River and is regularly praised for clean, well‑maintained grounds, helpful staff and a family-friendly layout. Sites include a mix of gravel and grass, tent and RV options with some partial hookups and several riverfront spots ideal for fishing or easy water access. Amenities include playgrounds, laundry (quarters only), paved roads, picnic tables and a dump station (ramps can be steep). Management enforces low speeds and onsite security, which many find reassuring. Be aware it can get busier and noisier on holiday weekends, trains pass nearby, and there are some long‑term residents on site.
