Welcome to River Oaks RV Park located on the Des Moines River in beautiful central Iowa. The park is full of fun things to do. You can spend your day biking and hiking the miles of trails carved through the woods or enjoy the serene atmosphere throughout the park. You'll enjoy mature hardwood trees and large RV sites during your stay. Also, take advantage of our one acre stocked fishing pond or cast a line out on the Des Moines River!

River Oaks RV Park is a well-kept, quiet campground featuring spacious, level sites, full hookups and a very clean, modern bathhouse/rec center. Hosts are friendly and helpful, and seasonal or long-term residents help create a welcoming atmosphere. Grounds are manicured with shaded pads and amenities such as laundry, a coffee bar, and available firewood and ice. Practical tradeoffs: access requires about 2–3 miles of unpaved, sometimes bumpy road from the highway and the location is fairly secluded. It’s a good choice for families, longer stays, or anyone seeking a peaceful base.
